So I’m rewatching “Cold War” with mum and I remembered a major question I had. If the TARDIS moves itself away from the sub, then how come everyone can still understand each other? They even make a big deal of how Clara can speak/understand Russian. BUT THE TARDIS IS GONE.

Anyone have an answer?
