"Good Looking Parents Sing Disney’s Frozen (Love Is an Open Door)"

So I think my wife and I enjoy Disney’s Frozen soundtrack more than our daughter, but I’ll let you all be the judge of that.

This is my new dream

I don’t know which is better
Watching the parents who are just fabulous people
Or watching the kids reaction

I love this I cannot stop laughing!

HAHAHAHAHAHAH

THEY’RE REALLY GOOD AT LIP SYNCING

THE ENDING oh my werd THE ENDING

In which: Joss Whedon fools you into thinking everything is cute and silly and funny

And then rips your heart out and laughs as you sob in a corner at the heartbreaking feels that the finale of this musical gives you ;_;

This 42 minute movie is everything perfect. The perfect cast, the perfect lyrics, the perfect ending. I’ve used this to teach all of the elements of poetry (the songs are beyond perfection for this), to talk about anti-heroes, to talk about archetypes, to discuss breaking expectations, to look at plot, to learn about foreshadowing and symbolism. I seriously love everything about it.

Shatter Me Shoes inspired by Tahereh Mafi’s boots

I had WAY too much fun making these!

The quote is from Shatter Me: ”I’m everything broken and glued back together.”

I chose it because I felt that it was a great sentence that summed up the evolution of Juliette throughout the series… and it worked really well with the idea of the shoes too!

DIY SHATTER ME SHOES

I have two great loves in this world: shoes and books. I wanted to have some fun combining these two ideas, so I decided to grab a pair of old boots and the book that started it all: SHATTER ME. It’s a story about a girl with a lethal touch; but at its core it’s a book about a girl with a fractured heart and mind, and how she learns to put the pieces of herself back together. These shoes are about just that: proof that not only can you recover from being beaten and broken, but you can take what’s left and become something even more beautiful. Something that shines.

Enter: SHATTER ME Shoes.

I created these boots using a pair of dearly loved but worn-to-bits Jeffrey Campbells (Brisbanes - original here), about 50 broken mirrors (purchased from my local craft store), and some really intense adhesive

hope you guys have fun crafting (and reading!)!

xx

We have to understand that no matter what we do with our lives we will never be as awesome as Christopher Lee is.

I will never get over how he corrected Peter Jackson on the proper sound a man makes when he’s been stabbed in the back because he actually worked in the British clandestine services.
Or how he volunteered to fight in one of the most brutal fronts of WWII (the Finnish-Russian Winter War).
Or how he was a NAZI HUNTER.
Basically, Christopher Lee is the real Most Interesting Man in the world and I honestly don’t know why we tell Chuck Norris jokes when this badass is walking around.
And then I see him rambling on about how Saruman and Gandalf are actually Istari, which are one of the Maia in the LotR commentaries and I realize he literally cannot become more awesome.

Oh can’t he?

#Christopher Lee wrote a Metal Opera about Charlemagne #all opinions are irrelevant
I just read up on that and now I regret I didn’t include it! The man is 90 years old and he’s releasing a metal album next year. ACTUAL MOST INTERESTING MAN IN THE WORLD CHRISTOPHER LEE.

[swoons]

I FORGOT ABOUT HIS METAL
HE’S HARDCORE

He’s also played Dracula like 5 billion times and in the first one he refused to use the terrible dialogue and wasn’t fired.
He was also bros with Vincent Price and Peter Cushing, but unlike them was able to get away from the horror genre and forged a well-rounded career.
He can speak 8 languages and will sometimes do his own dubbing for foreign versions of his films.
His family carries the coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire.
He’s related to John Lee, Robert E. Lee, and Ian Fleming.
He really is the most interesting man in the world.

do you ever just cry because christopher lee

This is why I can’t have nice things… because Christopher Lee has them all already.
